Current Chair of Trustees for a Learning Disability charity (2017-present).

A former NHS Trust Governor (2014-16). Trustee (2009-11), Chair of Trustees (2011-13) of a Children & Families charity.

A former school Governor (2005-08). Member of the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (2014-17) & Society for Education and Training (2009 – present). Member of the Association of Chairs (2018 – present). A Guest Lecturer at University of Greenwich. Visiting Lecturer & Business Partnership Manager at University of Bedfordshire.

Galina Lukomskaya

Volunteer environmental assistant and Ukrainian interpreter, helping with various projects. Galhina “Halina” also took part in our Green Jobs project (as a participant) and has first hand experience of how we can support the community into work or to access services.

Alex Oliveira

As Customer Service Director, I ensure that clients, staff and volunteers have the best possible experience by engaging with Impactful Governance.

We have the expertise and direct experience as Chief Executives, Directors, Trustees and Chair of Trustee from both charity and business sectors. We have lived some of the pressures and worked with executives to find solutions to turn around organisations.

With eighteen years of experience within the Customer Service role and Public Relations qualified. Pastoral care of our Team and service users. Responsible for venues, Health & Safety.

Veronica Garbett

Fellow Member of the Higher Education Academy (2014 – present); Human Resource Management and Strategy Lecturer & Academic Consultant (2010 – present); Trainer, Assessor & IQA of ILM, CMI, C&G, NVQ and BTEC qualifications; Mentor and Accredited Practioner Coach (2004 – present). Working with SME and Not for Profit organisations for Impactful Governance in the areas of business planning & strategy; organisational structures and staffing; leadership, management and trustee development. Veronica works with individuals to challenge and support them in achieving outstanding organisational performance.

Clerene Allen

Clerene Allen

Following a management career of almost 35 years, Clerene is currently a senior manager at a Hertfordshire NHS Trust

We have worked with Clerene on several projects and she is our Non-Executive Director, offering questioning and critique to ensure we are always considering our impact and stay with our Aims, Mission & Vision.

Clerene and Andrew have worked together on previous projects where both have been Trustees on the same Charity Board.

Bev Nickson

Bev is a professional Employment, Career and Advanced Life Coach and Mentor with over 12 years in the Welfare to Work Industry and provides excellent Information, Advice and guidance. 

She is experienced to working with a wide range of unemployed participants with long term complex needs to short term unemployment and delivers high quality careers information for minimum wage to high salary executive opportunities. 

Bev is a qualified Tutor and Assessor facilitating sector based qualifications plus non qualifications in life skills and employability skills in a wide variety of education and community settings.

She is a qualified in Health and Social Care Worker and has supported people since 2006 in roles within child protection, mental health, homelessness, drug and alcohol, youth, offending etc. Bev’s uses a wide range of sophisticated coaching styles to empower people personally and professionally.

Special Educational Needs Adviser with significant experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

MA Early Years, BSc (Hons) Psychology, CertEd BA Humanities.

Skilled at building positive relationships, enabling participation, influencing, peer mentoring and modelling effective communication, disagreement resolution and mediation.

Maggie Mitova

Intern, supporting us with the creation of the 2022 Impact report that reflects the work that has taken place during that year.

Maggie is also helping us with easy-read versions of our publicity to assist people with Learning Disability and/or Autism.

She is currently studying with University of Lancaster, to whom we are also grateful for their support.
